My name is Tom Bigelajzen, 31, Israeli.
I have been going back and forward between graphic design and computers for years, and eventually, I found the balance I was looking for in UX and UI Design and Front End Development.
I design, I improve other people designs, I develop, create interactive interfaces, and learn and improve constantly.
I am also a true believer in the principles of Free Software and Open Source and try to contribute what I can where I can to Open Source projects.

Education
I studied graphics and print at “Hadassah” College in Jerusalem, had some courses in computer sciences and mathematics at the Hebrew University.
I also have an old Microsoft MCSE certification for NT4, SQL 7 and TCP/IP.
Professional Qualifications
Specializing in Front-End Development and User Experience and User Interfaces Design for the Web. Have extensive knowledge in adaptations for right-to-left languages, CMS theming, web design and visual implementation.
I do modern HTML, Javascript and CSS and focus on standards and compliance with all types of browsers and operating systems. I have in depth knowledge in advanced CSS solutions for all browser types, I’m also considered an expert in adaptation of website to RTL direction (Hebrew, Arabic).
I have tons of experience with Front End Web Development of all types, from dynamic applications through templates for content management systems to mass distribution newsletters. Drupal is my CMS of choice.
I have knowledge of server-side language development – PHP, Ruby on Rails, also dealt with ASP.NET and ASP a bit. Also familiar with most common databases and content management systems.
Over the years I worked on various operating systems – Windows, Linux and Mac OS X and with numerous development environments and code management systems. OS X is my current environment.
I’m a highly qualified graphic designer and know my way through various graphic design programs.

Some crowned me as the local “authority” in CSS and HTML compliance for bi-directional websites.
